The People Behind The Platform.

Built by operators. Proven in the field.

Built by operators. Proven in the field.

Three careers. One standard. No compromises. The model behind Anti Billing Co. was not developed by billing theorists. It was built by people who operated facilities, felt the consequences of outsourced billing firsthand, and refused to accept the industry standard as inevitable.

A one-year mentorship for behavioral health clinics to bring billing fully in-house.

Within one year, your behavioral health clinic brings billing fully in-house. If it doesn’t, we should
not be paid.

No perpetual contracts. No mystery. No vendor dependency. We build the engine, hand you the keys, and walk away.

The Team.

Three careers. One standard.

Three co-founders. Three careers spent inside the operational realities of behavioral health. Not one of them arrived here theoretically.

JAN GOODMAN

Co-Founder · Operator

Jan is the founder and principal operator of Florida Recovery Group — a 100% commercial insurance PHP and IOP he built from the ground up in Delray Beach, Florida in 2013 and operated for twelve years before its acquisition in 2024.

Over twelve years, he contracted with multiple outsourced billing vendors. Each arrived with promises. Each produced the same outcome — delayed claims, inconsistent reporting, unresolved denials, and limited visibility into the financial systems that determined whether the facility survived. Florida Recovery Group was nearly put out of business three times. Each time, the culprit was the billing.

By 2019, Jan had seen enough. He partnered with Sherry Littlefield to dismantle the outsourced model entirely and build a billing infrastructure from scratch — designed from the operator's point of view, not the vendor's. That system became the foundation of ABCBC.

IRA BERKE

Co-Founder · Healthcare

Ira is a healthcare executive with more than twenty years of experience scaling multi-site organizations across urgent care, behavioral health, and medical wellness. As Partner and COO at MedExpress Urgent Care, he oversaw Florida operations as the company scaled into the largest privately held urgent care company in the United States — attracting investment from Sequoia Capital and General Atlantic before its acquisition by Optum, a division of UnitedHealth Group.

Over a ten-year partnership with Jan at Florida Recovery Group, he navigated the full complexity of behavioral health billing operations firsthand. That experience drove him to co-found ABCBC.

He brings to every client relationship what he brings to every operation: one conversation, real numbers, honest timelines.

SHERRY LITTLEFIELD

Co-Founder · Chief Billing Officer

Sherry brings twenty-five years of revenue cycle management experience across behavioral health and multi-specialty medical practices — with a primary specialization in commercial insurance across all fifty states. She has served as Director of Billing for some of the largest behavioral health companies in Florida, developing deep knowledge of how to bill across every major payer type.

In 2019, she joined Florida Recovery Group as Revenue Cycle Manager and built the transparent financial infrastructure that gave the facility direct ownership of its data, real-time visibility into collections, and the daily operational rhythm that had been missing for a decade.

What she built there was not just a billing system. It was the operating standard that became ABCBC.

Florida Recovery Group was nearly put out of business three times by its own outsourced billing vendors. In 2019, Jan and Sherry dismantled the outsourced model entirely and built a billing infrastructure from scratch, designed by a facility operator who had paid the price of getting it wrong, and executed by a revenue cycle specialist who had spent twenty-five years watching the industry fail its clients. That operational experience became the foundation of Anti Billing Co. Billing Co.
